Royal Taj @ Sentosa
We have been living in Singapore for almost 20 years and have attended numerous Birthday parties over the years. Recently we got an invitation and venue looked exciting. For so many years we never had an Indian Dinner at Sentosa. So finally we had invitation for a birthday Dinner at ROYAL TAJ, Sentosa.
How To Get There
We were driving so it was pretty easy for us. Thanks to Google Map. In case you are driving there just enter Village Hotel, Sentosa and a beautiful voice from Google Maps will guide you efficiently. For those going by public transport, you can get down at Merlion Cable Car station and walk (less than 5 minutes) to the hotel or you can also walk from Universal Studios (Less than 10 minutes) or even Siloso beach ( Less than 10 Minutes ).
What to Expect
Since we were there for a birthday party, we were welcomed with a nice chilled Rose drink. Decoration was nice. Restaurant is divided into two parts. One section is dedicated to people who love to drink and another section has a buffet Spread.
We were treated to Pani Puri/Gol Gappa served with chilled mouthwatering spicy water. Luckily I had a friend to compete with me so I ended up eating 12 at a stretch. Luckily no after effectsJ. In starters we got Panner Tikka, Haryali Kebab, Samosa, Paapdi Chaat and Tandoori Chicken. Being vegetarian it was nice to have more choices on Veg dishes than Non veg.
While having starters, my eyes were stuck on main course as I could see Tandoori live station and wanted to get a taste of crispy Garlic Nan. Well finally after cake was cut , finally I got my hands on to the main course. There was wide spread of Yellow Tadka Daal, Mix Veg, Palak Paneer, Butter Chicken and Rogan Josh all served with pipping hot Nan directly from live tandoori station. Every dish was nicely done up and it just melted in mouth.
There was another surprise waiting for us as we were served Mal Pua with Rabdi. Wish I had eaten less food ( specially Gol Gappa’s) to enjoy more of Mal Pua’s soaked in Rabdi JJ
Good Time spent with Friends, family and Good Food. Thank you Royal Taj. See you again.
